Manly Beach and Ferry Rides

Category : Travel

Mom, Evan and I always went to Manly Beach, a nice beach with ice cream, food, lots of sand and sometimes tidal waves of water. To get there we took a big ferry that went right through the Sydney Harbor. We sailed right past the Sydney Opera House, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and many other places. It was beautiful. When the weather was warm (which it was frequently) my Mom would tell me to go and swim. Sometimes I dove under the big tidal waves. When they got close, I tucked in my knees and got carried away by the waves. It was fun. We made a hole and trapped the water inside it. It was like a mini swimming pool. We also dug tunnels and made sand castles. The ice cream places were called Movenpick and Royal Copenhagen. They tasted delectable.

It was wonderful. I cannot wait to come back again.
